visa is required to enter Nepal except for Indian national.
One can get a visa at the Royal Nepalese Embassy or Consulate
of at the airport upon arrival. Children under 10 years need
not pay any visa fees. Two
passport Sized photos mandatory. |

- Additional
re-entry cost: US$ 25 - Single:US$ 40- Double : US$ 60
- Visitors
who intend to re-entry the country within 150 days after
leaving the country during the same visa year fee is US$
50 for 30 days
- For
provision intending to stay more than 60 days, tourist visa
extension fee is equivalent of US$ 50 (In Nepalese currency)
for 30 days from the Department of Immigration.
- Business
visa (with multiple entry) can be obtained from the Department
of Immigration for the period of one year and five years
upon the recommendation of the Ministry of Industry by paying
the equivalent of

100 and US$ 250 respectively in Nepalese currency for the
foreign investors.

| All
visitors to Nepal except the Indian National must hold valid
passport and visa. The Royal Nepalese Embassies or consulates
abroad or the entry points or the Immigration Offices provide
a visa upon the presentation of a valid passport, two passport
size photos and a payment of visa fees. Tourists can extended
their visas at the Department of Immigration, Exhibition Road,
Kathmandu, Embarkation and Disembarkation Cards : Tourists are
required to fill up disembarkation and embarkation cards upon
their arrival and departure. |

| Airport
tax of RS. 600/per passenger is levied on departure to SAARC
(south Asian) countries and RS. 1,000 to other international
destinations. Those flying within Nepal are required to pay
Rs.100 as the airport tax. Above tax according to the new rules
there is VAT applicable. |
